Eliminating Pain and Saving Your Natural Tooth
At 2th Saver Dental Clinic in Vadodara, we specialize in modern, comfortable Root Canal Treatment (RCT).
An RCT is necessary when the nerve (pulp) inside your tooth becomes infected or inflamed, usually due to deep decay, repeated dental procedures, or a crack/chip in the tooth. If left untreated, this infection causes severe pain and can lead to an abscess (pus collection) and potential tooth loss.
The goal of RCT is simple: to eliminate the infection, relieve your pain, and save your natural tooth from extraction. Our highly trained specialists use advanced techniques and precise diagnostic tools to ensure the procedure is thorough, effective, and virtually painless.
Benefits of This Treatment
Immediate Pain Relief
RCT completely removes the source of the infection and inflammation (the damaged nerve), providing instant and long-term relief from severe toothache.
Save Your Natural Tooth
The primary benefit is avoiding extraction. Saving the natural tooth helps maintain your jaw alignment, bite integrity, and natural chewing function.
High Success Rate
Modern endodontic techniques used at our clinic boast a very high success rate, allowing the restored tooth to last a lifetime with proper care.
Maintain Natural Appearance
Once the RCT is complete, the tooth is restored with a tooth-colored filling and usually covered with a custom-fitted crown, ensuring your smile looks completely natural.
Prevents Jawbone Deterioration
An abscessed tooth can infect the surrounding jawbone. By removing the infection, RCT preserves the health and integrity of your jawbone structure.
Cost-Effective Long Term
While extraction followed by an implant is an excellent option, RCT followed by a crown is often the most cost-effective way to retain a functional, permanent tooth.
Root Canal Treatment (RCT) Procedure

Diagnosis and Anesthesia
We start with a precise diagnosis using digital X-rays. The affected tooth is then completely numbed using advanced local anesthesia, ensuring the entire procedure is pain-free.

Access and Cleaning
A small opening is made in the top of the tooth. Using highly flexible and modern rotary files, the infected pulp and nerve tissue are carefully removed from the pulp chamber and root canals.

Shaping and Disinfection
The canals are meticulously cleaned, disinfected, and shaped to remove any remaining bacteria. We then fill the sterile canals with a biocompatible material called gutta-percha, completely sealing the space.

Final Restoration
The access opening is sealed with a filling. Since the treated tooth can become brittle, we almost always recommend placing a Dental Crown (cap) afterward to provide necessary strength, protection, and a natural aesthetic finish.
